We’re celebrating Earth Day (which is every day in our opinion!) Friday, 04.22.22 with @denverparksrec for our Second Annual Park Restoration & Clean Up volunteer event at Hirshorn Park!
Come celebrate Mother Earth and all her glory by putting on your work gloves and closed-toed shoes and giving back to our beautiful community.
We'll be picking up trash, painting, and raking mulch so come ready to get dirty! The volunteering portion will last 1-2 hours, and the rest of the time will be for food, friends, music, and good vibes. What better way to spend Earth Day?!
The Deets:
- Street parking is plentiful in the LoHi neighborhood. Please follow street parking signs and regulations.
- Waivers are required by the city so please be sure to stop at the check-in table when you arrive to the park. Meet us towards the playground.
- Food will be provided FREE to all volunteers after the clean up - come hungry!
- We will have disposable gloves available, but highly encourage you to bring your own work gloves to reduce waste.
- We absolutely love your pets, but the city requests volunteers do not bring them unless someone in your party is not volunteering and able to stay with them.
- Please bring a refillable water bottle! We will have water available.
**We also have Limited Edition TUF insulated water bottles FREE with a $20 donation to TUF - first come, first serve!**
